T's & C's


To book a wedding package a $600 non-refundable deposit is required.  This deposit can only be paid via the booking form below by credit card only.

All prices are as per website and current and valid and inclusive of GST. We don’t hold dates without a deposit as Queens is a very popular place to book.  For events booking the venue greater than 12 months in advance please note your price that you booked in at is locked in at the price.  We don't charge additional surcharges to accommodate for yearly price increases in stock, wages, outgoings etc.  Our package pricing does increase each year to reflect conditions. We only offer 5% discount on your booking if you book and pay in full at time of booking.

Payment of deposit signifies your agreement to these terms and conditions.  Once the deposit has been received the booking is confirmed and a confirmation email and pro-forma invoice is sent.  Final payment is due 21 days prior to event unless otherwise arranged.   

A $3.90 credit card charge for all payments made by credit card every time your card is charged. 


In some circumstances we will request security to be hired for some events.  To find out if this is required please discuss this with your event coordinator.


Please note when you book your event at Queens you are booking for a set time period, so if you or your guests don't arrive on time we don't push the start time back.  Your event time starts from the time you book and cannot be changed on the day.  It will also end at the designated end time as booked.  

When you are organizing your event ensure you tell your guests to be on time.  We don't offer refunds for no-shows, last minute cancellations or lateness.  Once final payment is made no refunds for whatever reason are permitted.  We as all venues have overheads, bills, permanent staff wages etc to pay and when you cancel your event these bills still exist and have to be paid, and by cancelling your event we could have booked it with someone else.  When you pay your deposit/payment this signifies that you agree to our operational policies (including the cancellation policy) and our terms and conditions.


Responsible Service of Alcohol is always enforced at Queens.  If you are attending an event at Queens we highly advise that you DON'T preload on drinks prior.  We are a cocktail bar and cocktails contain more alcohol then a standard drink, so consuming drinks prior your arrival to Queens is not a good idea. WE WILL REFUSE SERVICE TO THOSE GUESTS WHO ARE INTOXICATED ON ARRIVAL, and we will cease service to those guests who are showing signs of intoxication upon first arrival.

We only encourage responsible drinking at all times with great times and great smiles.  Any person who engages in unsociable or aggressive conduct, is found to be or is assumed to be doing drugs on premises will be asked to leave. We don't tolerate any abusive behavior at all.

Last drinks is called 15 minutes prior to end of service of which only one drink per person is permitted to be served.  During the course of the function we don't provide multiple beverages for one person to consume at once either.


Clients and their guests or any other persons attending the event are financially responsible for any damage sustained in any part to the premises.  Queens Event Space and all employed staff assume no responsibility or liability for any damages to any property of the client, injury or harm caused during the function to the client and/or guests or attendees of the function, or through use of venue or its equipment, consummation of beverages or food supplied by Queens Event Space for the client and guests/attendees.  Queens Event Space will not accept responsibility for damage or loss of any items left on premise during, before or after the function.  The client 'indemnifies' Queens event Space, from and against all costs, claims, expenses and losses suffered or incurred by the client, guests or attendees to the function.  Public policy insurance is in place, we suggest you organize your own insurance for your guests if you feel the need to.


T's & C's


We allow acoustic duos only for ceremony packages, and have a small internal sound system for you to plug and play your playlist into.  We don't allow live bands or DJ's.


We do have preferred suppliers that we do work with.  At time of your wedding consult we can provide you with this list.   No external food or beverages is permitted.  


Access to the venue is dependent on what package you have purchased. Suppliers entering the venue to decorate will need to bump in during the preferred bump in window times as we provide you and again for the bump out.  We don't allow glitter or confetti of any type and if you are having balloon decorations ensure that they don't contain confetti either.  We do normally allow next day pickup for decorations and other bridal party items left behind.


Our Wedding Food Inclusions include an abundance of substantial finger food that is appealing to everyone.

Our menu is hand crafted and tailored to your desires and includes items such as slow cooked beef and brie mini brioche sliders, traditional spinach and filo stack, devilled eggs, arancini balls, 'pigs in blankets' Thai tuna patties, blinis, mini tarts and more.  In keeping with the theme of Queens our food is traditional old school cooking that ensures stomachs are kept full whilst consuming cocktails. Our grazing platters consist of a variety of local meats, cheeses, olives, breads, dips and more.  

​During consult with Nicole, you can view the menu and decide on what items best suit your menu.  ​Please note we don't provide tastings prior for any of our finger food menus prior.  During your consult you will be treated to a cocktail and grazing platter.  


Of course wedding cakes are permitted.  We don't charge a cake cutting fee either.


Once you have booked one of our fabulous wedding packages, you will be invited to attend a wedding consult with Nicole at Queens. During this consult, you will be able to decide on finger food, discuss floor plan setup, cocktails that you want served, your playlist selection, role of our staff and your MC, and above all sample a cocktail and a grazing platter. 

You can also discuss the associated add-ons available for your wedding including our in-house celebrant that you can hire, dessert buffet (because everyone loves sweets!), venue signage and champagne towers. 

Wedding consults are only available once booked, and available for the bride and groom.  Additional attendees are welcome to attend in a paying capacity only of $75 per person.


You can upgrade to a premium wine selection for an additional $15pp or premium spirits for an additional $15pp.  Again you can discuss this at your wedding consult.

Mocktails and non-alcoholic beverages are also readily available upon request at the event, and water is readily available also.

Please note pricing does not change for non-drinkers attending the event.


Queens unfortunately don't have disabled toileting facilities available nor baby change room facilities.  Our toilets are located upstairs also.
